20G turbo upgrade from Buschur Racing.
Well, it made 15 whp without any tuning or other changes, so the 02 ebay housing works.
We are working on porting our housing more to match the power level that we reached with the Ebay part. Hopefully with some more port work we can match it.

Hey David, I got a quick question. Have you tested the new 20G-9 with Ti/al wheel to see whether it well surge, if not will u do such a test? Also, is there any chance of you testing the Works 3" O2 Housing? This turbo is definately a great platform for the Evo.

I'm pretty sure they have.. although the limitations on race/alky aren't real clear to me...
I will be doing pump 94, 100 and hopefully 116 pulls on the dyno one mine is installed.. but it's going to be almost a month so all I can do is talk about it right now
I'm almost as excited about sharing my results as I am about putting the damn turbo on...

The manifolds, 02 housings and turbine housings are $175 to port/coat, must supply a good core.
The 20G-9 with the ti/alloy wheel I do not plan on testing. The upgrade is $200 and the quicker spool of the ti wheel may be just enough to send the turbo into some compressor surge issues again. I am happy with the inconel wheel myself.
The 20G needs Stage 4 as far as I am concerned before buying the turbo.
Not sure how much boost you want to run on a daily basis but my car is hitting a peak of around 23 psi now. I have no way here to check the efficiency of the turbo other than simply watching what the HP/Torque numbers do with more boost.
The last time I tested on race gas so I could crank the boost, this was in the EVO8 housing, the power picked up at a good pace until around 30 psi. After 30 psi the power gains would still increase but only a few horsepower per pound, which tells me the turbo isn't efficient at those levels.
I'd expect to this change a little with this new EVO9 cover and the turbo become atleast slightly more efficient up to and over 30 psi.

I wonder if this turbo has enough flow to keep a 2.3 liter happy. From the looks of it the 20G falls just shy of 50 trim numbers but keeps the stealth factor alive, I like the sounds of it.

Dave, unless I missed it.....
You really need to get the new 20g on a stage IV car and some alky.
Dont you have a Evo laying around???

Jarrod's car is a Stage 4, we put the ported shroud 20G-8 on his car. The car also has a Power FC on it. I spent a few hours tuning it one day, still has a way to go. Ended up making about 300 whp. This was on pump, no alky, stock head, stock block, stock throttle body, stock intake, 272 cams.
