Are you talking about the small pressure plate bolts? I think there are six. If so, be careful torquing these down.... they are cheap zinc bolts and will snap if you tighten them too much. Spec is 23 ft/lbs. I snapped one during an install and couldn't believe it... I though I was barely tightening it. Hopefully, your local Mitsu dealer will have these in stock (unlikely) if you ruin one. Also, i wouldn't recommend using locktight on your flywheel bolts. I torqued a flywheel down to 105 ft/lbs once and had the hardest time getting the flywheel off when it came time to replace the clutch again. I used a 250ft/lb impact gun and it didn't touch it. Eventually I got all of them except one off with a huge breaker bar. One was rounded and had to be dremeled off. Closest flywheel bolts were 200 miles away. Not fun. So moral is... read your torque specs on these pertinent bolts. Don't use locktight, you'll probably regret it.

Yes the 8mm bolts and yes they are easy to twist off. When I said 30 ftlbs, I stated with brand new grade 10.9 bolts. The 10.9 bolts twist off at about 36+ ftlbs. I wasn't sure what grade the stock bolts are.
