I would really like to hear more on the 264's from tuners or owners who have experience with them. With my current direction I'm going more for mid range power and I think these would be more to my liking than the 272's. Do the mid range gains equal the top end loss or are the 264's pretty close to hte 272's all the way around. I don't really subscribe to the bigger is better theory on a lot of things. It also seems to me in general if you take what "everyone" is saying is the hot setup and go one step under that is usually about right.

IE: "Everyone" says you need a 3"DP. I went with a 65mm DP and I'm perfectly happy with it. Am I going to be the same on cam setup or are the 272"s the magic setup "everyone" claims they are?

 

272/272 spooled up @4000 and pulled till 8000

 

I tried a few different cams in my setup with a stock turbo and GT 3071
At the end I chose Tomie 264I/272E.
The dyno results Showd better overall spool up and top end power for me.

 

Ill be swapping out my 272/272s for 280s (and adding cam gears) later this month - ill post results!
