So ah...i've seen people post stuff bout some TSBs for the transmission... those are from mitsu themselves right?

I went into the dealership and asked about TSBs on evos and all they told me was the fan controller. I dont get it =/

 

I think they have TSB's mixed up with recalls

 

Mitsubishi is a bunch of scumbags....

if your warranty's done, can you still get tsb work done?

 

you should still be able to, TSB's have nothing to do with warranty...

 

is there a general listing of all the TSB's for the EVO, i searched around but could not find anything...thanks

 

My car is still under the warranty period but they are denying me b/c of mods....

i am currently fighting with Mitsu right now..... fun fun

 

tsb's are not recalls, you cant force them to work on the car with a tsb in youre hand..

 

I had the 5 gear/syncro, and the reverse idler gear assembly replaced under the TSB for each. I didn't have any problems from Mitsubishi other than waiting for backordered parts. They even gave me a rental while they had my EVO.

 

Good point....however it does help knowing what is wrong with the car

 

Here is what I had:
TSB 1(5th Gear Syncro). Severe grind when changing from 4th to 5th gear.
TSB 2(Reverse Idler Gear assembly). Grind when putting car into reverse and a loud rattle when the car is idling out of gear with clutch out.

What dealer did you go to that did your car with mods?

I went to Younger Mitsubishi in Hagerstown, MD. My mods or warranty were not even mentioned as these issues are TSBs. I now have 99K miles on my EVO!

 

Your a lucky guy....lol i am getting my ballz busted to no end. i am up to the regional rep right now.
