stroker?

Does anybody know what type of power you can get from a toda stroker with a tme 6.5 turbo. would the torque #'s be worth the money and time?

With a stroker you can run a bigger turbo than the tme 6.5.

No - Waste of money. Your much better off spending your money on other parts of the motor. Cams, Intake, Head Work, exhaust, etc......

With that turbo it would be a much better investment of your money.

I know that, but I wanted to know how it would perform with a tme. I want full boost at the lowest rpm I can get

I've heard TODA strokers are not so great, that either the pistons, rods, or crank are weak. Might be wrong, but...
IMO it's better to get a Buschur or AMS, and send your block there for install, balancing and blueprinting by the company standing behind the kit and parts. You can get all that done for just the price of the TODA kit.

Ok, that is very different from your original post on whether or not it would be worth it. In my opinion would still be no, with that turbo, but it really depends on what you are going to be using it for.

There is a member on this board that goes by the name of RoundPro (see post # 244 in below thread) that had a TME plus a stroker. I think he now has a White Rabbit, but see full boost now at 2400rpms.

With a stroker kit expect 15% to 20% more torque at the same lower rpms than a 2.0.

I would personally go with a 35R and a stroker with all the bell's & whistles, but again it depends on what you want out of the car.

Good Luck.

TODA is a waste of money. I bought the TODA kit two years ago and wound up only using the pistons. The rods and crank are OEM 4g64. THe rods in this kit do not appear to be as strong as the stock 4g63 rods. There is a lot of information on the TODA kit on this forum, do a search. There is also an enormous amount of stroker kit information available if you search for it.

You're going to get boost at low RPM's but the turbo will run out of breath too early. In other words, don't waste your money.
