clutch+flywheel combinations?

my evo is completely stock and now it's time to work inside out. I am really concerned about the clutch sistuation and I've decided to go with ACT clutch and i wonder if the Flywheel would help. does anyone have any experinces about the clutch and flywheel?
i want to do them both at once i dont want to do it twice..
any suggestions or ideas? thanks in advance. i wonder is it wasted of money to have an 9lbs or aftermarket flywheel in your evo?

I went from the oem to an act and back to the oem. the act was very heavy (which sucks for commuting in traffic) and it also would lock me out of gears when I tried to shift at high RPM's. I went back to the OEM. It's a good clutch... so long as you're not making monster power and aren't abusing it. I've already talked to plenty of people with over 40k miles on the stock clutch and still going strong.

I know of at least two other people who also have had problems with the ACT in an EVO. One with high RPM shifting and one were it didn't last very long. I also had one in a DSM and it was slipping after three launches. I have met other people who swear by them too though...If you are considering a clutch/flywheel combo, I recommend also looking at the Exede twin disc setup.

I've always like Exedy clutches more the ACT. ACT always seems to harsh, and have always heard the famous term "gorilla clutch" when people talk bout ACTs. Also, I'm pretty sure Exedy make most manufactor's stock clutchs, so you know they know whats up.

I have had a very good experience with Clutchmasters as well. I had a 4puck sprung disc in my DSM and had many high 1.5 and low 1.6 passes that were 120mph plus. The clutch is now in my friends car and has many, many more 120mph plus passes and is still going strong. The clutch I had before it was also a Clutchmasters 2500 and it went out after 7000 miles and only a handful of runs. I sent it to them and they upgraded me to the 4 puck for nothing. They said that vendor sold me the wrong clutch for my horsepower level but they took care of it anyway. They really know how to take care of their customers and I was extremely impressed by their 4 puck and flywheel.
