Please do, because no Evo hits full boost by 3000rpm. Show me your dyno plot where you hit peak torque at 3000rpm. The rest of us do it anywhere from 3600-3800, which is the point at which the boost spikes.

welll im looking at my old dyno sheet when i had the Hallman MBC and peak awtg is at 3200rpm......... this was before i installed my EBC (which made a big difference with no boost spike) and i tuned with the AFC........ i haven't run on the dyno in a long time and i don't plan on it becuase i like street tuning...... Warrtalon i respect your knowledge and i have no reason to BS.....also my quicker spoolup might be because i have a 03

Please, post the dynograph. We've had 3 dyno days this year with about 15-20 different Evos of all years and not one has ever spooled that early. There is just absolutely no way you can hit full boost by 3000rpm. Mine doesn't even START spooling that early...

this the before and after dyno of my mail-in flash.......... only mod on the car was Injen intake and the mail-flash peak torque between 3200-3300....... i just got back from driveing around and in fifth gear i had full boost by 2700rpm

Right, I see 3300 or maybe 3200, but that's not 2800 nor 3000 as you originally claimed. In what gear was that dyno (assuming 3rd)? Your story about 5th gear is irrelevant...there's more load in the higher gears. Gears 1-3 are more relevant in this discussion.

That dyno was in 3rd gear and like i said, that was before my EBC, Turbo-back, and my tune with the AFC.,...the TBE and the Blitz EBC helped me spool up about 300rpm sooner..... so like i said i start to spool around 2800 and 21.5psi by 3000...... on that dyno sheet the red is before the flash and blue is after. So with the flash alone i spool up around 100rpm sooner. i don't think it's inconceivable that my car would spool up 300rpm quicker with downpip,HFC, Cat-back and a EBC

haha guys geeze dont argue. i am going to ask, damn you are running really rich on that dyno. why? did you tune it that way? your at like 10.5:1

that dyno sheet was along time ago...... after my mail-flash......now that i have a wideband and the AFC my a/f is alot better........ if you want somthing done right you have to do it yourself

arent turbos kinda tempermental, may have been a bad day on tha turbo with a crappy tunning problem, i spool at 3000 in tha lower gears and more like 4 somethin in higher gears. weird? does anyone get like pedal lag? haha i guess you could call it that. pm me
