Well a local performance shop, Alamo Autosports, told me to do at LEAST a 10-40W. They recommended the Motul oil and used it for my very first time. Honestly, no real difference could be felt from changing from Royal Purple. At $10.00 a quart not sure if it is worth it, but will keep on using it.

Mobile one is like Patron. Very well marketed yet good tequila to have shots with. But if your know the difference between what is available, you will find there is a lot better way to make a Margaritta. (Don Julio Real)

In this case Amsoil Runs and holds up better for High RPM turbo cars. Or in this case "A better way to make vicosity and Horsepower"

Royal Purple or Amsoil for anything performance based.
Mobile 1 for the beaters and DD.

Any synthetic changed regularly, is better than an expensive synthetic changed less frequntly. In other words, use Mobil 1 and change it at the recommended intervals and you can't go wrong. Just my opinion.

Most of the high visibility EVO and DSM 4g63T engines are using synthetic oil of at least 15/50 viscosity and a substantial number prefer 20/50. 10/30 is not enough.

Why would you want cold viscocity to be as thick as 15-20?? That just means the oil will be even thicker and harder to pump when u start the engine cold. Oil viscocity when cold should be as close as posible to when it is warm.
