No Fair! You experienced guys push everyone to search and I'm sure it's cause you were pushed to search when you were newbies.

However, this question asks for a response from the current forum. Maybe a new fantastic oil came out last week ... maybe not, but some of us want to hear what's being used by evo owners TODAY and why.

I've searched the 'oil' topic but would like to know whats being used now especially cause I know there is a 'hot' new product on the market. (I saw a thread here about the product last week but can't recall the name).

OhOh! Wait, let me get my fireproof suit. There I'm in so let the flamers begin.

What kills me is that the "Evolved members" push everyone to search, search, search. Yet i find no new post that are interesting or incitfull. So they would rather sit around like two b*tches in a sewing circle talking amongst their little clicks of highly modded EVO's. REMEMBER GUYS AT ONE POINT YOU KNEW ABOUT AS MUCH AS WE DID !!! So reiterate topics and talk about it. I have gotten such a negative responce from some of the questions i have asked i have resorted to going to ask.com and reading the information there , but then again if i do that ...what would i need this forum for.

Mobil 1...here's my reason...

Prove to me Mobil 1 is inferior. No one has yet. End of debate.

1. "Don't mess with success"
2. "if it ain't broke don't fix it."

I agree with you up to a point. Yes the experienced members need to chill out. Yes, the newbies need to search. BUT, the point of the forums is to discuss NEW information. What oil is best is not a NEW topic. If the topic were,"Are there any new hot oil products?" You might not get flamed. Have you tried the search function? If so you will quickly understand how important it is to keep the repost topics to a minimum. I bet when you searched for "oil", you found a million topics. In a perfect world you would type,"best oil" and come up with one thread. BUT, because of the enormous amount of reposts this will never happen and more newbies will be discouraged by the search function. Thus more reposts, and a vicious cycle.[/rant]

I use Royal Purple 10w30, I get like 50 miles more per tank too... Great stuff and worth the little bit extra to buy it. I bought a 5 gallon bucket of it for like 100 bucks, so I'll get 4 oil changes out of that, so its only like 25$ per oil change plus the cost of a filter.
