450 whp, yeah so what? 360 ft lbs of torque? Double so what! haha

My car with the 20G made 376 hp and did it before 5,000 rpm, they didn't hit peak until 7500 rpm. My car with the 20G made 396 ft lbs of torque with a curve that doesn't look much different than their torque curve.

Sorry, no impressed.

oh, you prolly didn't look carefully, that dyno is fake... but it's just that they put some nice parts together... would like to see a "real life" dyno of that some day.

how could there be any justification of running a stock like turbo on a stroker? the boost taper is a killer, even if you did make more power on top, (which is up for debate right?) you're paying like a ton money for REALLY next to nothing. white rabit and 20g is an improvement for the stock turbo but to run a stroker on it is presumptuous isn't it? it'd be more wise to have a gt series that would spool fast and hold some on top right?

mhgsx,

The complete 20G does not come ported. It comes with a new 10.5 turbine housing on it but it is not ported or coated.

The stroker engine, even with the stock turbo, is quite impressive in the mid range. I would say on the stock turbo or 20G that there is going to be little or no improvement up top, for that matter even on a GT35R the stroker doesn't add much if anything up top. The low end midrange is improved substantially though. 35 ft lbs/35 whp from 2,000-5,000 rpm would be very normal to gain from the stroker.

Thanks Dave.

Considering you gained some HP by porting out the stock turbo, do you think similar gains would be accomplished by porting out the hot side of the 20G?

Oh yes, I am sure that the ported 10.5 housing on a 20G is going to pick up. Porting always picks up.

so the ultimate 20g would be the 20g-9 (with install kit), with upgraded wastegate, ported 10.5 and jet coated, ported stock exhaust mani and o2 housing?

I cant wait until you get these rolling!

Yes, I would agree with that kmcconn9.

Looks like the cost of the turbo can come down some, waiting on confirmation. For any of you that order don't worry about being locked in at the price the day you order. We will bill anyone that orders for the up-to-date pricing the day we ship these out.
