HKS SSQV BOV problem...

i have 2003 EVO 8, i just installed a HKS SSQV BOV (with recirculation kit), down pipe, test pipe, hard pipe greddy EVO II cat-back exhaust, intake and filter, if RPM runs over more than 3, and let go the gas, and rpm will go all the way down to zero, and the engine just automatically shut down itself, do you guys think that's HKS SSQV BOV's problem? i heard someone said that i could just get EIDS to fix the problem, and do you guys know if that works? Also, i'm planning to do a turbo upgrade in the future..should i just get POWER FC for my car? thanx.

Why repost? I already answered you in the other thread. The title is misleading, too, since a fully recirculating SSQV should not cause this symptom.

Just put the stocker back on or get the MR BOV, You really dont need one yet becausr your mods are not really big so the stock or MR valve will do just fine.

Recirculating should not be the problem , but I had the same symptom with my ssqv . It seems my car doesnt like tight BOV's ( i tried looseing the bolt on the back, it didnt work ..) , so off with the sssqv and on with the MR valve and I couldn't be happer . This could be a by-product of my cone fliter ?!
