Reflash your troubles away!

 

If you dont have a reflash yet then I suggest trying that out. It made a huge difference in the way my car idled

 

I did get reflashed... but I didn't get reflashed after installing cam gears and changing the settings... that's actually what I'm wondering.

Do I need a flash everytime I change cam gear settings?.. I was flashed for it to be on 0/0 but I changed it to -4/-1.5 without getting that flashed.

Besides that my car has been flashed for everything else.

I guess I need to add that to my sig.... I got Dynoflashed... and he did an awesome job on the flash.. the tune is absolutely amazing.

I don't know if the GSC's are that different from the HKS cams but I absolutely love my 272s. I have stock cam gears and a custom dynoflash. No idle problem and not even a hint of discomfort to drive. Everyone I took for a ride when I was waiting to get custom tuned said the same thing, "where's the uncomfortable idle everyone talks about?" GSC cams rock. Thanks Al and GSC.

 

I also have the HKS DLI 2 ignition amplifier. Which has even further improved idle but I had my cams and a mail in flash prior to the amplifier and the cams still ran great.

Get your car tuned and it will make a huge difference. I have 264/272 and idle is not much different then stock.

 

I would love to get that piece but isn't it like 600 bucks...

I think I may just keep my 272's... just retune again since I decided to try a different cam gear setting.. my idle is not that bad.. I was just saying it's not better than stock how alot of people describe it to be

It's more than likely because I messed around with the cam timing without reflashing the ECU.. just wanted to be sure that was it.
