Is there a multiplier that would convert your DD dyno's 310whp to flywheel hp or bhp? I have an IX that I would like you to tweak. What are the whp #'s on a stock IX after you tweaked it, before the exhaust or any mods?

Here's how much flywheel hp on the just tuned IX. You can extrapolate the exhaust/tuned hp by compairing with the dynograph below this:

Stock 05 EVO 8--> 210-215whp
Stock 06 EVO 9--> 230-235whp
Stock Porsche 993tt-->300-305whp
Stock Porsche 996tt-->315-320whp

*As far as bhp goes, I'm guessing we're in the 360-365bhp range.*

FWIW 310 whp on Shiv's dyno is a low 12 sec car that will trap between 111-114 mph. In other words your car will be very fast with 310 whp on Shiv's dyno. To compute to dynojet type numbers you are lookin at 340-355 whp depending on set-up and environmental factors. Any thing over 325 whp on Shiv's dyno is a good 60ft away from an 11 sec timeslip. It appears that the a stage 1 Evo 9 on racegas will see 11s on a conservative/safe tune. U won't need a crazy surging dragrace tune to get into the 11s. Man I need a job to get back in the game with a new Evo9. King of the Streets u better watch out the Old King might make a comeback and challenge u for the Throne.

I thought the IX made less than 310whp on shiv's dyno with just exhaust and flash?

I thought the 310whp figure was what a dynojet dyno would measure it at?

Would be sick if it could make 330+ whp on 100 oct and 340+ on vp109 or C-16.

Seems plausible if you include switching out the HFC for a test pipe too, since Shiv gained 15whp going from 91 to 93.

mmmm test pipe and C-16... 350whp anyone?

So what was the gain on shiv's dyno from stock with a IX running a flash and exhaust?

230whp to 310whp?

Yes.

:side note: Please read this thread before asking anymore questions regarding numbers. All of your questions so far were covered several times in several posts. Not trying to be mean, just trying to save this thread from unnecessary posting.

I think a running summary chart with whp and torque would help to avoid repeated questions!
Not sure if I have these ballpark figures right (not accounting for 91 oct. vs 93 oct. tuning or boost level )
Anyone feel free to correct my crude approximations / distinguish oct, boost psi, etc.

VIshnu Performance / Dyno Dynamics Dynamometer:

stock VIII 210 / ?
Stock IX 230 / ?
Stock IX with flash 250 / ?
IX with flash + exhaust 300 / 300
IX with flash + exhaust + intake ?

That would be awesome. However, the 3071 setup did 350 whp on pump( on the shop car,not Azar's ATP) but only gained 20 whp on race gas. I hope this Turbo shines on race gas. 310-315 on 91 oct with test pipe is likely a 12 flat car with the increased tq and better spool. Get 30+whp more with the Manly gas and this new IV will be a beast w/o a turbo upgrade. Only time will tell. Go Shiv go!
