Loud clunk in tranny?
Loud clunk in tranny?
I have a 2005 gsr. with 14k on it. Two times now i have heard and felt this huge clunk in the tranny ,it happens when the car is almost heated up to half on the temp gueage, in 4th gear at about 3,500 rpm at WOT i felt like my tranny was gonna snap , kinda like the same feeling when mitsubishi had the BOV installed backwards
I am sure i need a new clutch right? Or you think is is in my tranny or BOV etc.. Thanks guys

it also kinda sound like clutch slipping. my 04 would do that on the dyno after 2-3 runs, would start to chatter REALLY loud at low rpm in 4th. Might just be because its not fully warmed up.

Please be a little more specific on when it happens.
1. Does this happen when you are shifting between gears?
2. Does this happen when you are letting go of the clutch in WOT?
