Buschur Evo9-20G vs. Gt3076r on pump and alky?

any idea how this turbo (Evo9-20g) would compare to the 3076 in overall performance? for instance, a car with all basic bolt ons, where the only difference is the turbo (evo9-20g vs 3076) on pump and alky. which turbo would outperform the other in 1/4 mile race and 40mph rolling race? trying to see which one would have the stronger and best overall powerband. i figure the 20g would dyno around 400whp and 400+tw and the 3076r would be around 480whp and close to 400tq.

At the track I am going to say the gt3076 will win. From a roll it all depends on rpm as the gt3076 is laggy. If done while its not spooled up the 20g will jump on it but the gt3076 will eventually catch up and pass depending on how fast you take the pull too. I have a friend with a gt3076 and thats how it goes with me and him from a roll.

I dunno, I think the 20G-IX is capable of taking on a GT3076R, considering the 20G-IX put up similar or even better numbers than the G3076R with much better spool-up.

I haven't seen any track times from the 20g9 so I don't know about that. I guess If its capable of trapping in the low 120s it will be able to take down a gt3076 in all aspects.

The old 20G ran 11.3 at 124, I believe. This new one is even better so I think it should be able to possibly do a 10sec pass at close to 130.

the 20g will spool faster therefore come of the line first.. any bigger turbo will have to play catch up..

Depending on what you want to do with the car I would consider the gt3071r, A friend of mine with supporting mods and 264 cams made 410whp @ 21psi with the 3071r and that was a atp kit with AEM ecu, a good tubular header and you would see better power and spool time, it's a very responsive turbo in general and seems to be able to support good power.

Your sentence is confusing. Is he currently using an AEM EMS or not? Also what kind of fuel did he put those numbers down with? I'm assuming your friend has an Evo too.

bump....i'd like to know too...i'm considering the 20g-9 or the 3071 kit....the 3071 looks the most fun to drive w/o a stroker or serious lag but i'd love to see a dyno sheet of an evo with the mods that twst mentioned (i.e. minor bolt-ons - cams, exhaust, reflash, pump gas/alky) and the 20g....and not a fully built car that dave bushur puts up for comparisons.
