Good God, spray some WD40 in those cylinders before you wreck the rest of your block. You need to then cover it with plastic or a garbage bag or something.

Check your front balance shaft, it is driven off of the timing belt. The rear has its own belt. If the front is frozen then pulling the timing belt out would be hard, it is possible that the crank timing belt pulley stripped the timing belt so that it can turn but that the front balance shaft/oil pump pulley is engaging the timing belt making it nearly impooible to pull out. The only good thing here is that if the shaft is frozen that the engine would not have run long enough to have oil starvation sence the front balance shaft also runs the oil pump. Balance shafts freezing up is the reason that DSMers have been removing balance shafts for years. Takes away one mode of failure, but some argue that it brings on others.....

An underdrive pulley causeing all of this???? Please give me some factual evidence to back this up, this considering I've had an underdrive pulley on my Evo for 25k miles and still have great oil pressure.

I am not blaming the pulley, I am saying that the front balance shaft bearing may have frozen, for whatever reason. I doubt that the underdrive pulley had anything to do with it....

I wasn't saying you joey specifically, there were a few people in this thread that were blaming the UDP...

This problem could be caused by a bad cam shaft angle sensor,it tells the ecu when to fire the plugs ,,try cranking the car with the gas held in also check the oil level the evo has a safty mech that will kill the car in cases of low oil press or level

Well, IMO, if the UDP for some reason is slightly off balance and there is nothing dampening the vibration it creates, the bearings could get damaged.

Ok, and while I appreciate your opinion, I'd just like to see some facts, that's all...

Cool I did not know if you understood what I was getting at, but with some DSM experience you probably have an idea. Assuming that the timing belt pulley is still connected to the crank (and I do not see why it would not be) I am going to stick with my guess that a shaft is frozen and that the crank pulley stripped that part of the belt. If so the crank would turn over, the cams woould not spin, and the belt would be very difficult to pull out if it is still engaging the frozen balance shaft pulley....

Umm, WHY is your timing belt cut in half? IF you did that I still have to ask why?

You will need a LOT more than just a piston... most likely the rod for the piston, and the rest of the piston assembly... not to mention some head work... those valves do NOT look seated at ALL. Hopefully you can get them out, without damaging the valve guides.
