Do you have a CEL showing? Can you pull the code if it does? PO355 is the crank position code if timing is the issue.....

smartest thing to do is to check to see if ur motor is okay first. Checck for the worst first

he said his engine turns, just not freely. if the engine fuse was blown the car wouldn't do anything, it wouldn't even try and crank.

almost sounds like your engine seized up on you. have you checked your oil? you can't turn it at all by hand? good luck.

As of right now its not sounding so good for you. If it doesnt turn over , espescially with the plugs removed something is where its not supposed to be. You didnt hear anything the last time out with the car? If the Tbelt is worn, prolly cause its easier to tear up rubber than metal. Not sure what you want to do at this time. Is the car still under warranty? Or you can start ripping the manis off the head and see whats going on. How long has the crank pulley been on for?

spin it the other way. a valve might have broken and stopped the engine from moving.

pulled the valve cover today, cams look fine and the valves look ok to the naked eye. still cant turn the cams. only thing i can think happened was maybe the timing belt tensioner broke and its holding the belt. Has this ever happened to anyone!! or is this possible whats wrong???

well if tensionor would fail - ur timing would be all off (you would noticce it). Big loss of compressoin. Get the compression test done asap man. Check if ur motor is okay then go and figure out what the problem is after the main diagnostic is done

you need to pull the head, then the cams and see what's bound up. There is a mechanical bind of some sort if you cant physically turn the cams with a ratchet. Also your valves will be bent, because if you cranked the bottom end without the cams turing 50% of the valves are done.

if the timing belt tensioner broke, would that be under warranty? modding the car should not have an effect on that. If that is the case they should fix the belt and the valves. is there anyway possible the valves are fine

Edit-- Could the crank pulley that i put on have anything to do with this? its just weird that one week to the day that i installed it this happens!!!!
