Best kit for my 06 evo? to make 500WHP

Hey im in the market to buy a turbo kit but im curious which kit would best fit me and what would i need for supporting mods? Im looking to get 500WHP and wondering if that is possible with a stock 06 motor. Any information will help thanks.

U might have the best Turbo possible for your car stock, so why change it?FWIW
An aggressively tuned 3037R could get u there on Race gas on the 03-05 with all the required bolt-ons and the 35R will get u there quite easy. However, wait until the tuners get all they can from the Stock 9 turbo before u dump the stocker and wait to see what the Buscher 20G 9 puts down.

yes you can hit the 500whp safely on the stock motor, I think RnR is having a sale on their turbo kits right now.

Probably full 3 inch exhaust, 35r kit, supporting fuel mods (injectors, rail, pump), stand alone, with maf delete, alky kit.

Then you're probably be going to need a new motor, because if you don't know what you need for 500whp, you're probably not going to have fun with a standalone in your car.

Go slow and go easy, start reading a lot, that's my advice.

Oh btw, you're probably going to need north of 10 grand as well.

Are there even turbo kits available for the IX yet? I didn't know turbo kits meant for the VIII would work with the IX? Seriously the way things are looking the IX may hit 500WHP on the stock turbo, just kiddin' of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if one hit around 450WHP pretty soon.

Well i came from a srt-4 that hit 524whp, i don't no much about evo's thats why i was asking, I basically wanted to know if the motor could handle the power, i know my srt4 hit 500whp and took a dump on me. I had to put forged pistons in it. Thanks for the info.

500 is about the limit where most engine/turbo builders get nervous about the stock internals. You can run 500whp (or maybe even a bit more) with a really good tune, just dont expect to road race it and have it last 100k miles, ya know...

Ya, 500whp is a good safe limit on race gas or alky. Sounds the 35R is what you want with all the proper supporting mods. I won't mention what kit you should get.
