cold weather = high pitch bov?
cold weather = high pitch bov?
why does the cold weather affect bovs? I'm running a greddy type-s recirc. Every time I let go of the gas it's really high pitched on vacuum or boost. Sometimes it seems like it's frozen or something because it lags a bit before it releases the pressure but my evo is garaged...
Omg i was just wondering the same thing! I was all worried when i was driving this morning that something was wrong because it sounded so odd. It doesnt matter anyways, im switching over to the aps soon.
Get a VTA, live with the loss of performance, and attach a duck call to the output. You can also cut a whoopy cushion in half and zip tie the functioning piece tightly to it and you will have farts blasting out of the hood vent between shifts.
sorry to bring up an old thread...but i actually did a search!!
i have the same greddy bov and while drivign the car it makes the really obnoxiuos high pitch sound even when the car is warmed....is ther anyway to fix that problem?? softer or hadrer?
