This is damn good news... I knew sooner or later someone stateside would step up. The ACPT unit is much more reasonably priced if they do indeed under cut the "Euro" one by half. At that more reasonable price, I'll be interested.

I'd like more details though. Which of the three shafts do they intend to replace?

For those who want to know what benefits there are other than just "less weight".

there isnt a set price on the drive shafts yet, but they will be between 1000-1300, depending on how many can be sold if we do a groupbuy.
these will be probably a 2 piece unit like the aluminum ones, due to the angle that the evo drive shaft has.

it includes a 1 year warranty for workmanship and for the bond of the carbon fiber to the ends.

I would really like to see this in a 1 piece design and given that the European CF driveshaft is 1-piece I'm sure ACPT can achieve the same thing with theirs.

Ok guys I know many of you are interested in getting these and I know many people who have them or have ordered many of them. Overall good product HORRIBLE service. They will charge you and not get you the product for a long time. Here is just one of my closer friends problems:
http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php?t=305990

He broke it and had tons of trouble with the fix and the initial sale. I have also heard other people having trouble. Just something to keep in mind please at least read the review before you buy.

i have done many reviews, this might have been just a fluke, i have talked almost a dozen times and i have had nothing but good stuff from them. there is a warranty on the shaft for 1 year.
