Yes they do, but aftermarket and oem are two different universes in the world of reliability.

I just called and spoke to James over at ACPT, he said the Carbon drive shaft is about 2 weeks away.

I can't wait to see the actual product. They should price that below 1k so It won't be called stupid mod.

Actually genius, known to the educated, it could have a greater effect on acceleration than many "Mad JDM" $1k mods...

1+

The effect in acceleration and spool time is great with this $1K mod.

ACPT was working on this with a driveshaft company out of TX i talk to the owner of the shop and i send him pics of the one AMS sell's becasue they where haveing a hard time trying to find the right parts to mount it to the diff's. Since they didnt have any way of cncing it they had to use parts that where out already. And this is the reason it took so long to rap it up. Per the guy in TX.

Actually, not. Another quality of the carbon fiber driveshafts is that they have more "give" from a twist standpoint, and thus cushion and protect other typically vulnerable drivetrain parts, like transfer cases and axles, from loading shocks.

If they're reasonable in price, I'd be interested as well.
