You are using the bolt that cam with the cam and NOT the stock bolt, correct?

Did you figure it out. I just got mine yesterday, I'll look to see if mine came with bolts.

Mine didn't come with any bolts, and the packing list doesn't mention them, so I am assuming you are supposed to use the stock ones.

Unless they changed something, they come with a bolt screwed into the exhuast cam.

Nevermind, I was looking in the box with the springs, mine has it for the exhaust cam.

Ogvw is correct. This seems to be just a small mistake that will be easily corrected.

I bought the cams new, but from a distributor. When they arrived, they appeared to be new, but the seals on the boxes had been broken prior to their arrival on my doorstep. When I inquired with the seller, he told me that these cams were brand new, but they had been taken out of the boxes for photographing. I can only assume that it was during this process that the 8mm bolt was misplaced, and not put back into the box. I want to be clear that I have no evidence that the camshaft kit was missing this bolt when it was shipped from Revolver, and stress that it is most likely a simple mistake that it was not shipped to me from the distributor.

While ogwv has explained to me that this is simply a 8mm 1.25 threaded bolt which is approximately 1.5" in length, I didn't want to take any chances with using a non-specific piece of hardware. I will happily wait until Tuesday when the right bolt arrives to wrap up the install.

I will post the dyno results on Tuesday night.
