Advance atuo has it here for $5-6 a Qt , but its not allways in stock .

definitely diaqueen lsd for the t.c. and rear, i buy mine in a gallon tin from my mitsu dealer for $45. i've used redline mt-90 for about 100 miles in the tranny and didn't like it, but i have 6-speed mr, so i used exact equivilent 75-85 gl-4 castrol syntorq lt synthetic for the trans and it shifts beautifully. it's also half the price of the stock mitsu MR specific tranny fluid.

get this crraaap,

i called the local Mitsu shop in Atascadero, CA and asked to speak with Parts to order Diaqueen. i get the Service manager/Tech. i forget his name...anyways, i tell him i would like to get a price on a gallon of Diaqueen. he says "whah?? what is that??" i said it is the fluid for the transfer case and rear diff in an Evo. he says that they call it gl5 there and dont call it diaqueen. i said so you guys use just regular old 75-90w in the rear diff and trans case??uhhh yeah....he rambles on about him being a "tech" and such. uhh yeahhh again. if he dont even know what diaqueen is-how can he say he is a "tech"?? idiot...

sorry for ranting, but this is why i am asking the questions about what people use in their cars-good and bad experiences and WHY they changed to a different fluid.
