Forge RS BOV Size

I have a quick request if anyone is able to help me out here. I am looking to get a Forge RS BOV (recirculating one). What I need to know is how tall it is. Not "pretty tall" or "about as tall as 2 stock ones". I am wondering if anyone who owns one, could take 2 minutes to go and measure it. I would really like this BOV, but I am limited on space as my bov flange is on the bottom side of my UIC pipe. If I have enough room under there then great! But if not, then I will have to find something else. Anyway, again all I would like is a measurement from the highest point on the bov, to the very bottom of the flange.

I am wanting to get it with the 1g flange on it, but I can work with it if I get one with just the straight universal type bottom on it. So if you measure this, could you please tell me what flange it is you have too. By the looks of pictures it looks like the 1g flange doesn't really make it any taller, but again that's just picture so who knows, I'd really like to know for sure before I spend the money on this.

And just in case you were wondering, yes I did ask Mike from Forge. First I asked him some basic questions, and replied to me quickly which was great, but since then I have written him 2 emails asking if he could tell me the measurements, but with no responce what-so-ever. I also wrote Slow Boy Racing as they sell these, but they are simply telling me "Well it's pretty Tall, and they don't come with 1g flanges, and you'd be better with..." blah blah, I don't care what I'd be better with, this is what I want, and yes Forge said they can put a 1g flange on it, so I gave up with SBR after 2 emails from them. I've tried searching, I've tried vendors, and I've failed, so hopefully someone on here can help me out as it seems a good number of people use these valves here.

Thanks in advance for your time and help, I appreciate it!!

Mine is exactly 4.5" from the bottom of the 1G flange of the blow off valve to the top. I have the BR UIC pipe with plenty of clearance. Hope this helps

Thank you very much! This is going on a DSM, so my clearances may be different then yours. It's just hardly anyone in the DSM community uses these, so I figured it would be better to ask for this on this forum vice a DSM one.

But that is a huge help, thanks for taking the time to do that!

Does anyone have a measurement of one with just the standard straight flange on the bottom?

With the standard straight, it's about 5".

Its about as tall as the paragraph you just wrote:

You could have wrote "Exactly how tall is the Forge RS BOV?"

I just measured:

From input port to the tip (this excludes both 1.24" long sleeves that slip inside the hoses) it's exactly 4 inches long.
Also about 2.5 inches in diameter at the thickest point.

Sorry for postwhoring but if your screen settings are 1280 by 1024 pixels it is exactly as long as the paragraphs you posted.

I can't believe the things I write in the morning time.

The only reason what I wrote was long, was to avoid the bs posts like "Well its about as long as 2 1/2 stock ones" , or "Why don't you write mike at FORGE". I wanted to say that I tried all other avenues before actually making a thread, in hopes to get the answer I needed without the random BS posts.

But thank you for your responce with the measurement. That is appreciated!

In recirculating setups running a hard turbo and boosting upwards of 21psi, the rs will really perform. The adjustability also gives it more drivability or performance when you want it.

note: the forge rs is not really recommended for less than 19 boost.

Perfect, because I will be running right around that on the streets, and well above it at the track.
