improve on the EVO8 engine? Was the previous EVO's have the same configuration/specs as the EVO8? I dont know much about EVO's but did any of the previous evo had 5-speed?

From what i understand, crankwalk happens only to manual transmission. correct me if im wrong.

From what little I know, being "crank walk" the tranny wouldn't seem to matter.

Crankwalk has happened on some automatics, but it's much less common. As I understand it, it's because the AT doesn't put a big lateral load on the crank bearings like a clutch does when you press it down.
