rev drop problem
Thanks TTP, but clutching in did not work on my 06 (at least the time I tried it). Accell in 3rd to 5K, still in gear, clutch in, rpm's come down really slow till 3k rpm (about 5 secs or longer), after that it drops fast (ie, normally) to 1K rpm.
Are you saying I need to clutch in at 5K, and then immediatly clutch out and then rpm's will drop normally?

It is a clutch switch you are trying to engage that will trigger the rpms to come down.
i get a different reving problem that is driving me up the wall. when i push the throttle half way down, the turbo acts like i am flooring it and fully boosts. when i let off and push the clutch in the rpm's still climb. ALL THE TIME. if anyone has a cure PLEASE PM ME.
