So, are there any RNR kit users who's DP lets them run the lower tie bars?

 

jj 008, I think you got one of the first 5 kits which was our version 1 downpipe back 2-3 years ago. I will have no problem refunding you if you didn't use the downpipe. Also our version 2 downpipes from the last 1-2 years fits the lower tie bars no problem as can be attested by everyone that has our exhaust on this board.

 

All version 2 downpipes for the last 2 years will fit the lower tie bars.

 

How much is the version 2?

This wouldn't of been a problem if you would have returned my calls or my PM's. I still have the DP in my garage and have no problems sending it in and getting a refund.

Here are some pics of it. Its still nice and clean (no exhaust soot anywhere). Don't mind the high temp RTV on the flanges. I use it on the gaskets in order to get a better seal. Unfortunately, the DP wouldn't fit at all (It hung so low you couldn't even bolt it to the cat) and so I never got around to cleaning it off. PM your address and I will send it.

 

For the record, my downpipe fit like a glove as did the lower tie bars....no spacers needed.

 

Just wanted to post up.....

Got my new dump tube from RNR and it fit perfectly, no modifications needed. Apparently there was a bad batch, but Ryan made good on it.
