To anyone with a RNR 35r kit....

How in hell did you get to lower IC piping to clear the radiator AND the wastegate dump tube? I need some help as I can't get it....if i get it to clear the wastegate dump its all over where the radiator has to fit....

It seems to me that the dump tube is just plain in the way!

Thanks in advance guys...

The lower I/C pipes can only fit one way so it would be safe to say that your dump pipe is screwed up.

Yup. I'm not gonna get into details because i'm pissed. But yeah, same issue you described with the dump tube. Apparently its impossible and needs to be fixed before it will bolt up.

Not 100% sure. But from what my tuner was telling me, it sounded like they need to do a little fabricaton.

i can see how the dump tube could go somewhere else....but i sure don't have the tools in my garage to do it, nor should i have to. i suppose it could be cut, but im worried about the noise in the engine bay being mistaken for knock.

i need an answer from someone who remedied the situation, and how they did it. there are plenty of RNR kits on the road....

The first thing I would do is take pics and send them to Ryan at RnR. He will either know what is going wrong or he will take care of you and get you a new dump pipe. He has me every time, accidents happen.

If all else fails my advice would be put it all together with out the dump tube then cut the dump tube where you need your bend/radius (what ever way you what) and score it for welding so you know it will be right and all you have to do is get it welded together.

well, i know for a fact it won't fit....and any way to get it on there at this point would put all the couplers in a funk and they would be on the verge of blowing off at all times.

the reason i asked on here is because i wanted an answer hopefully before the sun came up in cali....i have everything ready except for this.

If the lower IC pipe fits without the dump tube there, just take its off and take it to a welder, have him cut it, and angle is more so its not in the way. Only cost $30 I bet.

you think its that easy? maybe it is, i haven't tried yet....but there is a principle involved here as well.

i don't have time/energy to put the car together without it and take time DURING the day to go to an exhaust shop and have them cut/weld/fab some **** up.

I gotcha, its just that it would probably end up being easier for you to take care of it with just installing everything minus the dumptube. Then, see if you can realize in what direction it needs to be in order to fit and take it to like midas or anyone who can weld. If you call RNR, youre gonna have to send pictures, phone calls, wait for a new one, blah blah. Just figured it would be easier (time-wise) to do that.
