Buschur Mbc problem

I've turned it way down - almost to the point of having the knob come off. But I'm still boosting 25psi plus. Yes it's properly installed and I have the 6.5 RS TME turbo (non hybrid) and VDO 30/25 Boost gague... Anyone. Do I need to take the mbc apart, clean it, etc... Thanks

Sounds like a hose is pinched or the wastegate is stuck. Check to make sure no hoses or pinched and that the WGA nipple isn't bent. Also, switch in someone else's MBC just as a troubleshooting step to verify if it's the MBC itself or not.

If I remember right thats a ball and spring type. Try unscrewing it all the way then take out the ball and spring and lube them up.

To eliminate the boost controller just disconnect it and run straight off of wastegate pressure. If you still have a issue then its in the wastegate or a vacum line. Goodluck

My guess is that the wga is stuck. Can't I fix this by shortening the wg arm. Hoses and nip look ok. Damnit

I would think a very very light coat of oil will do the trick.

Loop the wastegate and and turbo nipple together to test the wastegate pressure or switch out the MBC. You need to start taking components out of the equation if the visual check looks good.
