Yeah the stock Evo turbo doesn't really like to hold boost. It just falls off in the higher rpms. Well 22.5psi is the average of 25psi and 20psi. So how bout we call it 22.5psi? Imagine how much more of an animal the stock turbo would be if it would hold boost to redline.

I think Al's pruven dyno is sounds too good to be true dyno. Al posted 355 whp with evo9 with just turboback and MBC at 22ish psi with 93 pump gas.
you guys shouldn't compare two different dynos. All dynos make different numbers as far as I have seen. And dynos tell you whatever number if operator makes mistake putting in parameters.
Let's talk about the trap speed !

I agree, but if you read this post....

I think Pruven reads fine. However by average its usually a little colder in CT than it is in NJ. Also, how bout the guy who was flashed by TT with the 9 with just exhaust, flash and something else that went 11.9@115.9.... I think 355whp sounds about right for that.

Also, there are no "parameters" to dial in to a DynoJet, thats Mustang Dynos.

Hopefully Ill have some trap speeds soon.

Tial 44 mm v band wastegate
V band 304 stainless steel 02 housing
Oil feed and return lines
304 stainless steel v band dump tube for the wastegate

This is a super high quality kit. Our GT35R kit like this ran 10.12 at 141 mph on our EVO.

The manifold flows great, makes great power, will not break and is ceramic coated so it won't rust. Also accepts the stock heat shield or our polished SS heat shield.

How would you compair the flow of this BR Manifold to that of a AMS Tubular Manifold or a RNR and so on? Is it true that topend is limited because of it but in return for faster spool? I know how fast your RS ran but that car is heavilly modded with a ported head and so on, what about the regular guy with an 03-05 evo looking at that turbo and boltons? Would power be missing with this setup or is it 100% equal to a Tubular?

Thanks For the Info dave.

First, not sure how this is post is even involving TT being in it. Second, the 11.2 at 127 that the TD06 20g ran on someone's car from TT still is not a 10 second pass, so as I said, the TD05H 20g's were the only 20g's to run in the tens. I'll get to more in a second.

Fahken EVO,

My RS does not have our turbo kit on it that is being discussed in this topic. My RS has just our bolt on stock appearing TD05H 20G on it. The RS uses the stock manifold and 02 housing. Looking at it you cannot tell the turbo was changed, it is "stock appearing". The car, last year, ran 11.30 with a best mph of 124, this was at only 330 whp on our MD AWD dyno. The car is currently making 410 whp and 450 ft lbs of torque on our dyno. The car is going on an AWD Dynojet Tuesday morning. I will have charts and numbers from a Dynojet then.

As for how our kit compares to AMS tubular manifold. AMS makes some very nice turbo kits.
I truly like the guys at AMS, I have nothing negative to say about any of them or the products they make. They have probably sold more GT35r kits than anyone else and have had some customers with their s hit together run fast with them.

I prefer a cast manifold for the street. The manifold we use we designed from scratch and have cast. We have put as much power down with our kit as any other GT35R kit I have seen here that was set up similar. Al's car put down the most of any GT35R kit that we have had in here, he was running AMS's. I do want to clarify something though. Al's car also had a real set of cams in it and also had boost levels MUCH higher than we did. Al made 580 whp on our dyno. Our black car was limited to 32 psi of boost and layed down 530 whp. Our black car also ran 10.12 at 141 mph with our off the shelf GT35R kit which is right in there with the fastest GT35R powered cars out there, difference is we did it at 32 psi, which is saying quite a lot. So, to finally answer your question, I don't feel we are loosing any power with our cast manifold over a header.

Back to another comment from TT's. The stock turbo will infact easily hold 25 psi of boost to redline, as a matter of fact I can hold 25 psi of boost with a stock turbo'd EVO from 3,000 to 7500 rpm. It is a matter of how you control the boost.

Here is the quote from what is in TT's 20G kit.

"Since Just to let everyone know what our kit includes:
-Turbotrix stainless equal length tubular manifold
-Turbotrix 20G
-Turbotrix stainless polished 2.5" o2 housing
-Turbotrix Stainless polished 3" downpipe
-Turbotrix 2.5" stainless polished lower i/c pipe
-Tial 44mm wastegate with polished stainless dumptube
-Oil feed line
-Oil return line
-Gaskets, clamps, silicone, etc."

What is missing is the price which I went and found. If there is a group buy of 10 guys is it is being offered at $3200. Let's compare and I am only doing this as this Topic was not about TT so since they joined in I will do a direct comparison.

Our kit includes:

Custom cast manifold, ceramic coated.

ANY turbo for example but not limited to: GT3071, GT3076, GT3582, FP3065, FPGREEN, FP RED, GT37, BB 50 TRIM, TDO6 20G, ETC., ETC. I can put just about any turbo in our kit for the same price. You are comparing BB GT technology kits to using an old school TD06 20G.

304 grade SS 02 housing, V band clamp, 3/8" laser cut downpipe flange. Uses existing downpipe, no need to throw your old one out or try to sell it.

304 grade SS lower i/c pipe with couplings, brushed finish, you can't see it buried in the bottom of the engine bay.

Tial 44 MM V band wastegate.

304 grade SS dump tube kit, brushed finish.

Braided SS oil feel lines and fittings.

Billet aluminum flanged both ends oil return line with push lock hose ends.

Complete kit, is assembled and turbo is "clocked" for installation. $2995.

To clarify, you get a manifold that will never break, a complete turbo kit with high end V Band clamps that can't leak, all SS components, top of the line oil feed and return and some modern turbo technology for $205 less.

Thanks for reading.

Probably because someone asked you when you're going to offer a td06 20g kit, and TurboTrix just made that kit....

I like ya Dave, you've done wonders in this community, but c'mon man you know a comment like that is only going to start a fight.

I can get some specs on the red but I have no personal experiences with it to pass on.

4Tun8, that may be but I don't think their name was brought up. No fight starting, I didn't go into any of their threads about their turbo kit, remember that. BTW, I'd be very happy with your car too, especially with the sponsorship and all.

I'd be happier if I was a better driver, but no sponsorship or part in the world is going to help me with that.

When you DO come up with that part, I'll jump on the bandwagon =)

4TUN8,

Me too brother! haha. Only way my car is setting any records is if I have someone else driving it

Since this thread is about 20G's. Just got off the phone with a customer that has our 20G on his car. He just got thrown out of the track, he ran 11.3 at 119 mph. Peak boost was 23.8 psi. His EVO is absolute full weight with stock tires on it

And I'm guessing it's not with an MBC

Possibly with good EM and an aftermarket boost control solenoid?

180 degrees off topic for this thread, sorry about that ... but that statement just stood out to me since I've been recently trying to point out that an MBC isn't the be all end all of boost control ...

Hey! get your own goal, that was mine =)

I had these goals, some of which I just failed.

---11.49
---No major motor failure
---No major driveline failure (excluding clutch)
