I was at the dealer while back, and they changed my ecu because i had a check engine light and was only on 10lbs of boost. I got the 20lbs of boost back but now its back to 10lbs with no check engine light...anyone have any ideas what is going on..

 

If you're only seeing 10psi all the time, then you're boost system isn't working, because that's base wastegate pressure. When did it change from 20psi to 10psi? Did anything else change? When you said the dealer changed your ECU, do you mean they actually gave you a brand new one and re-keyed it to your car? Or do you mean they just cleared the CEL?

There are many things that can cause you to only see wastegate pressure, but we'd need all the details of your car - all mods and changes.

 

They changed the ecu and re-keyed it... it went away for a month or so but its back..to 10 psi i only have full exhaust, ARC intake, and Forge diverter valve..car only has 16,000 on it

 

You're going to have to troubleshoot it and see what's wrong. It probably has something to do with the boost lines, the WG nipple, or the BCS. Is there anyone around you who has an Evo with an MBC? You could probably remedy everything with an MBC, but that's only a guess right now. You should already have one anyway with those other mods...and you need a flash.

 

Thanks man, ill keep u updated i unpluged my battary and gonna let it sit over night..c what that does but ima go get a boost controler tommorw from AMS and ill c what they say too... ill keep u updated on what it is
