Custom made engine harness plugs needed.

Someone in here made custom plug connectors for their aftermarket ECU to fit the stock harness. Does anyone know who that was? I need 3 of them made.

You can also get an ecu from a 2.0 liter obd2 gs or gst, or a hyundai elantra with 2.0 4g63 motor or the kia that has the motor and take 1 piece from the ecu and cut the harness and solder together. I have a gen 2 ecu off a gst and it plugs right in to my evo, probably diff pin outs, but all connectors do plug right in perfect

Umm, I'm not sure what I'm looking at? Did you make the plugs or are you implying I should be running the MoTec?

They also sell jump harnesses.. you could buy one of those and cut off one end of it and then put your own harness in. Whatever ECU you got with should come with at least a pigtail or its own harness coming out then just professionally connect each wire with its corresponding stock wire. Would take some time but once done it would be perfect and could be disconnected quickly.

Are you looking for the 4 plugs that plug into the ECU or the other end that is part of the ECU?

Here's what I'm looking for. The new MAP sensor has a pigtail. The pigtail that connects into the stock wiring harness doesn't have an end on it. Instead of cutting into the stock harness I want to get a custom connector made where I can choose which pins to use. This custom made connector will conect into the stock harness plug.

Malibujack can make them, but he won't have time till spring, so I'll have to contact a company here in MKE.

Ahh, i know what connector you are looking for. If you want to keep the connector in the car, then I would just tear back some of the sheathing on each wire and solder in your pigtail for the MAP sensor. You could run each wire thru the fire wall and re-pin them in the AEM, but you have to make sure you have a spare 5volt output and sensor ground as the MDP sensor wiring that I am talking about using shares a 5volt and ground reference with other engine sensors.

I was under the impression that I could use the stock MDP sensor wiring? Hmmm.

You can, but what you are asking is that you don't want to cut the MDP sensor connector off of the harness nor splice into it. Getting the other end of the connector in a kit to re-pin, by itself will be very hard to find, maybe you could find them but you will have to buy in bulk. Easiest way is to just splice the 3 wires on the map sensor to the 3 wires for the MDP sensor.

Cut the connector off the MDP sensor and solder it to the new sensor pigtail... now plug it in.

If you want the stock sensor for some reason I got two with the stock pigtail in tact
