Can you hear it when you drive your car? I can hear it but barely with the radio and AC off of course but Im probably just over reacting or just being too picky

I have had my evo for 3 years and have had lifter ticking from day one. It happens usually when the car is cold but it does go away when the engine is warm. No problems sor far.

i had ticking on my fairly stock evo around 18 k is when someone pointed it out, doesn't bother me i barely notice it. I didnt even know it was the dreaded ticker till someone said your engines ticking.

i mean is it noticeably different than injector tick. i mean i have heard my injectors before how can i tell the difference. the question wasnt as stupid as it sounded

Mine would tick when I ran 5w30 during the winter but when I put in 10w30 there is nothing...

I think I've seen as many stock cams with "tick" as aftermarket (bleed or not) now on the Evos... I have no clue why some do, and others don't. I bleed the lifers on all my installs, but feel it is a crap shoot in the end.
