this might be dumb the car is and 05 EVO RS, i just put a Buschur TB on. I noticed that when i really "give it the beans" (Jeremy Clarkson), it starts to break up when the boost is like 1.0 to 1.5(spike) it runs like 1.4 bar. I checked the spark plugs they look fine and are they are 1 step cooler. also i turned the boost down as soon as it was put on so it didn't overboost. any fixes or ideas.
its not doing it bad but you can deffinatly hear it in the exhaust.

mod list:
buschur TB
turbo XS intake w/ hard maf pipe
greddy type s bov (not vented to asmosphere)
s-afc not tuned
turbosmart MBC

i know i need to get flashed, and i did think that that might fix the problem...

I would say get tuned. You could have a boost leak it its breaking up like that

 

I would think you should get a flash...you have a lot of bolts ons and they all mess with your a/f and things like that...a flash will probably solve your issue...being that the ecu will be reprogramed to work with your mods

 

I would say tune, unless you have the Magnacor wires.

Sell the intake, BOV and S-AFC and use the money for an EcuTek flash and dyno tune. Thank me later.

 

What do you have your spark plugs gapped to? I gapped mine down and that stopped it from breaking up on top. Even if that fixes it, you should still get tuned.

i was gonna say flash or TXS utec with programmed stage maps but I see it had allready been mentioned. good to see a fellow RS driver out there. Love em.
