A local reputable DSM specialist told me that he has seen 2 stock evos with #1 spun bearings. I didn't ask him why the owners just didn't take it to the Dealership, I should have though. I'm pretty certain he was relating actual events though. He had seen a post with pics on EvoM a while back about the issue, and was offering a possible explanation about the issue (bad run of OEM bearings).

Anyway, that's what I seen around here (CO)

i don't believe you should judge the life expectancy of an evo motor from a thread like this.
by and large these are evos of the unlucky and unwise, even if it was fun.

either way, a sample of twenty is not enough so i will keep bumping.
