what do you think about me making my own exhaust? I was thinking about taking my exhaust off and then just sorta copy the bends or smooth them out y'know? Or would it be just better to buy an exhaust?

 

It's an old old idea that people have been doing for years and years. It can be done and usually be done very cheaply. Go for it if it's worth your trouble, or get a pre-made exhaust and pay a little more without the hassle.

 

IMO you got nothin to lose.

 

get the TBE from ebay for $200 and mod it to your needs. you cant buy 3" stainless pipings, 3" flanges , a muffler and all the hardwares for much less than $200. the dp would be the hardest to make if you planing on keeping the lower cross member brace. if you get the ebay TBE, you can use the dp and test pipe and just modify the cat back section.

 

If you can weld and fab then you can do it in under 2 hours. Cheap.
