quart low won't blow shiat up, but i wonder what caused your problem? were you driving around fat chicks again? you know, the extra load on your motor when you got a car full of fat chicks will cause bad things to happen at peak tq.

ive warned you about this previously kevin!

sorry to hear about your misfortunes. stroke it.

Here is an interesting question, at first, it sounded like a radiator fan scraping on something. COULD my turbo hit the crapper, and sucked out all my oil, and the subsequent ride home caused my bearing to go out? it was a "TICKING" first, then the thud. maybe the impeller wheel went out first???? Is this possible?

I wasn't looking, it just felt funny, like it was going to stall, probably not much boost. here is a photo of the TME turbo, does it look fine? I guess so, not much play in the shaft.

That turbo is fine. If the turbo was bad, you wouldn't have the symptoms you mentioned anyway. Good luck with it...

something went thru the turbo, there appears to be damage to the outer edges of the blades. That does appear to be an excessive amount of oil on and in the compressor housing.

I re-started the car, and you cant hear it the 1st 3-4 minutes at idle, the idle sounds NORMAL. It's just when you "feather" the gas to 1,500K rpm, then you hear it!( I didn't want to idle it past the 3-4 minutes) noticable, but not LOUD. the mechanic dudes who came over said it is coming from cylinder #2. Just updating you on my findings!
