Are you being facetious? I was serious. His symptoms sound exactly like the upper hose rubbing on the radiator fan.

Its your aps bov tapping the fan casing. I have the same valve, had the same noise over a year ago. The way it sits, makes it sit wayyy to close to the fan , pop the hood and take a look( even try tapping the aps valve againt the fan casing yourself to see if it remakes the same noise... try to push/stretch the hoses as far away as possible. Havent heard it since.

This in fact is common and in many cases wears down a HOLE in the upper rubber pipe.

I did notice at that area the hose is sorta shredded. I think ill replace it with Samco hoses.


Secondly there is another rattling that could have been what i heard last nihgt commingfrom the passenger side bottom of the car.

Its by far not as loud but sorta similar.

when my car gets hot from a long drive (especially with a/c on in the summer), the tranny rattle is always elevated. You should hear a supra with a lightweight flywheel. You'd swear the car is broke, but it's normal.
