Not very impressed with Buschur's mini battery kit.

The stock airbox does not fit very well. I was only able to get one of the two bolts in. The front bolt is a good 1/4" off. This is with the battery shoved all the way back and grinding about an 1/8" off the aluminum tray.

It also has a lot of sharp edges that look like they could chafe the wiring harness that rubs the tray. I expected a lot more from Buschur for $225.00.

I opted for the Miata battery for 50.00. No problems there!!! I think you might have it in wrong, because I NEVER heard anything bad about their mini battery kit!! I just didn't want to pay that much for any MINI battery. the miata battery did the job for me!!.

I'm not saying it's perfect it's not hard at all to install and what wires will get "chaffed" there aren't any touching the base unless you did something wrong?

Mine worked fine. It wasnt 100 per-cent, but I would say 98% perfect. I noticed a few times I had it in incorrectly. Otherwise that little battery cranks and HARD

Let the guy give some feedback bro. Ultimately it will benefit everyone, is called constructive criticism, knowing how good Buschur shop is they will listen and try to improve their products. Is all part of the game.

Maybe you should call Dave and not post something like this.
I don't think you are to use the stock air box with that battary kit.

I think vwjeff is right I thought it said on Buschur's website that the mini battery does not fit with the stock air box but perhaps with enough voices he would look into making one that does.

Do any of you guys have problems with your battery not holding a charge if you don't drive your car for week or so? Mine gets very low and almost doesn't want to start.

How did you fix it? Just keep charging it or disconnect it when you're not driving the car?

Just take off the negative terminal when not using it for a period of time I guess, or get a "trickle charger" I havent had that problem.
