it's all personal pref man... if u dont want to you dont have to listen them... read what everyone has to say and look some at the results (dynoflash's casestudys in his threads are a great place to look up dynographs with mods listing) and then make ur choice

if u get a custom tune the intake has been shows the 11 whp difference.. might be worth it to u...the difference mail-in it will probaly only be 5-6 whp difference over stock (at least from what i've seen)

i personally rock a Injen intake system and i love it... i think the stock intake system is kinda ugly and i show my car so it's a nice touch as well

The prices went down becasue of the simple fact that the ECU cable is out now by jason at mines performance. Cuz in all flashes dont cost that much the cost of the software is made back after let say at $200 all you need to do is flash about 12 cars and you made all the money back from the software. I dont really want to get into it but thats just a overview.

Staying on topic here stick with the stock bov mine is holding 22psi nicely.

Come on man, really...

There are thousands of people with mail-in flashes. Taking out your ECU is as easy as installing an intake. The glove box is plastic...if you're not willing to bend it a little to get it out, then I don't know what to say.

Jmartinez, EcuFlash is not available for the IX, so that comment is irrelevant. Dynoflash prices went down because of the new software he got from TechTom that no longer requires 18 minutes to upload the new flash each time. It now takes 2-3 mins like VIIIs.

Im talking about the overall cost of the software i could care less how long it takes to upload. Why dont you ask how much the hold thing cost i dont think there going to tell you but you should give it a shoot anyways. Like i said i dont want to get into it everybody has to earn a buck to live so lets just leave that along man.

Back to topic haveing a bov with this intake will stall your car and thats the main reason where telling you to keep the stock bov.

No, I don't mind. But I would appreciate it if you could give me a little bit better instructions on how to get it out. I'll send this thing out on Monday if it's $199. Jestr Tuning Wants $600 for an EcuTek Flash. What will I see as far as gains with my HKS downpipe and cat-back w/ testpipe.

With full catless exhaust, MBC set to 22psi, and your mail-in Dynoflash, you should be around 330whp like the package in my signature states. You will have the same basic mods - just a different exhaust brand.

The instructions are given clearly on the dynoflash site and in the dynoflash forum (stickied at the top). I don't know what else you'd need to know...

Do you have some new information I don't know about? People have run great times with both the stock airbox and aftermarket intakes. Intakes also make good power on the dyno but some speculate (like you) that the power is gained from the hood being opened. Unless someone has done some extensive road dynoing with an accurate G meter testing the stock intake vs. the stock airbox I don't think you can jump to that conclusion. You yourself always go nuts over people that spread misinformation or were misinformed.
