IDK man, the 50Trim as long as it is spooled would make more power although it is lagier.

I would stay far away from quoting anything to do with CFM, or any other volume measurement, and stick to mass flow measurements. And at 15 psi with those two turbos and a front mount intercooler, efficiency is irrelevant.
I think he is just making the point that the 50trim will always make more power whatever the boost be.

The 50 trim will make a little more power only because of the larger hotside, but at 15 psi there is not a lot of power to be gained here. Whatever power is gained is offset by the extra lag at the track. For people just looking for a strong pull on the street, you will probably enjoy the slight increase in power. But on the track, the extra power won't offset the disadvantages. Don't take my point the wrong way though, I'm all about larger turbos, and usually turbos that were bigger than I really needed. My main concern in this thread was the reasons people were giving for the extra power, and the strange comparisons being made

Slowboy racing did a recent turbo testing to about 25 different turbos on the same engine/same dyno. 8.3/1 compression 2.0. At 15 psi the evo16g did 344hp/290tq. The 50 trim did 290hp/280tq. The 16g was spiking trying to hold 15. At 20psi the 16g did 344/344. At 21psi the 50trim did 364/360.

Tdo6h/20g. bastard. small16g housing milled to exept 20g wheel. 15psi did 352/298, 20psi did 387/350. 30psi 422/459. The 50trim did 425/423 at 27psi.

Sounds like the 50 trim wasn't even on it's efficiency map at 15psi....
