True Mitsubishi TD06H-20g????

Where can I find one? Not a fake kit or a modified stock turbo, I need a true TD06h-20g......just the turbo.

The TurboTrix kit is $2999 - call them and ask for it - it is the only TRUE 20g (TD06H) kit out there that I've seen so far.

When you do this, send me a PM to unload that stock IX turbo.

A TD06 won't bolt up to the Evo, so you need a kit with the DSM manifold, downpipe, etc etc. Look up threads by 4TUN8 who was the one who tested their true 20g kit. He put down right around 400whp on pump gas and 21psi then trapped 119mph with pretty much basic bolt-ons other than the kit, so it definitely makes power. He has not tried it on race gas or alky, though.

it will not bolt on due to the fact that our manifold is a twin scroll design. I believe the "true 20g" kits use a T3 flange therfore you need to use a T3 manfold designed and flanged for that particular turbo.

DSM manifolds do not bolt on to the evo

Yes, I know. I was saying he needs a different manifold that will work with the different turbo design, but I don't know the specifics of what is different.

It's not a t3 flange. The reason they don't fit is because the evo has a reverse rotation turbo versus the DSMs that had standard rotation turbos, which is why there are a lot of options that bolt up to the DSM.

There arent a lot of reverse rotation turbos in the evo world unfortunately.

You can contact blouch turbo at 717-865-3276 and ask for mike if you still want "just" the 20g turbo. It won't fit however.

Don't Even Bother with the 20G and may as well hit up a 50 Trim or bigger. I am sure the 20G is nice and 119MPH on pump is fantastic but the 50 Trim is that much better.

In my defense, I'm on the stock intercooler though =)

which means with an upgraded intercooler I might see a 120mph trap. The 119 was on a very cold day, and the closest I have been able to getting that again was 117.6 with 1 gallon of c16 to 3 or 4 gallons of pump (no boost change).

Mitsu has improved the design of the 20g wheel. 4tun8 does not have this new wheel and his car does pretty good at 22psi on the old 20g wheel. The new 20g greddy kit must be using this new wheel. The Jun Evo 9 layed down 493whp/409tq at 24psi with 2.0 liters. That is actually kicking butt on most 50trim performance numbers I have seen. The old 20g compressor wheel weighs 71 grams. The new one has a smaller hub, which makes the blades longer and the wheel lighter. It prolly weighs less than 65 grams. The evo 16 wheel weighs 57 grams. The garrett 50 trim wheel weighs 100 grams. The compressor wheel spins at 100,000 rpm+ . That extra weight of the 50trim wheel is very noticable. I personally would not use a 50 trim on 2.0 liters. I think it needs 2.3 liters to be fun. Even with 2.3 liters I would choose the new 20g over the 50trim. But I just hate laggy setups.
