I am happy to say I will be using the GSC brand of cams and I can't wait until my car is finished with the build.

I decided to go with a set of GSC 272's with my current setup. I have read so many times how happy people were dealing with GSC so I gave Greg a call and he went over the GSC cam specs with me.

Greg has top notch customer service! He went above and beyond explaining everything to me. You can tell he is a very down to earth kind of guy that will chit chat with you and not sound like somebody just trying to make a sale. A+

I look forward to reaching my goals with these cams in my setup.

didn't you have HKS 280s before? Sounds like a downgrade to me...

 

yeah, why did u choose those cam's? just curious. i would think some more aggressive cams would be better to reach ur goal.

on the 2.3 stroker i don't think he woulda gotten the benefit of the 280s, since they pull harder 7k+. Can't wait to see the power phil!

 

quality cams, i have the 272/272 on stock turbo, and i am very happy with the new found midrange/topend....

time to look for some LS1's, at the track of course.

 

you can still run 280s and time them to put hte power on earlier. the thing is the 2.4 can produce a lot more vac at idle so it can handle more overlap.

 

i called greg at gsc to order cams and can not get ahold of him i eamiled him and called many of times and no return calls or emails whats up with that?

 

They might be out racing. I believe they travel all over the states to different events. Remember, they are car enthusiasts too!

On the weekends they are tough to get in touch with due to their racing endeavors. I've always had great service from Greg and I've found that the middle of the week is the best time to get in touch with them. I've always gotten call backs when I've left voice mails as well.

Sorry for being out of touch. we have been traveling and had a mid week race at daytona last week. not to mettion trashing on building a evo TT car that has to be finished mid week. I will check my email and get back with you first thing monday. again i appologize for being out of touch.
