Most WHP on Pump Gas 93/94 Octane *91 for people who say hella

Out of curiosity who on here knows of/thinks they are making the highest overall numbers on pump. When I say pump gas I mean GAS only, no meth, no alk, no WI no nos, just boost and pump gas. If you think you made the most WTQ post up too, I am intrigued as to what actually makes the best numbers on pump gas. To me it seems a 2.3 35R'd car will make the most on pump, but the 50 trim seems close.... lets find out what is king of the pumps!!!!!!

1st Edit- If you are going to post YOUR results please have boost, octane, dyno type, and mod list attached. Elevation and weather conditions would be super but not needed, you can say hot and humid or a goddammn blizzard if you dont remember exactly.

2nd Edit-91 octane will added on here too for you qest coast folk

3rd Edit- Format will be Tag-WHP/WTQ-PSI-Dyno

4th Edit- Format will be Tag-WHP/WTQ- Displacement(if you don't say I will assume 2.0)-PSI-Dyno

It IS an interesting question. Sometime in the distant future, I hope to investigate just that with a 50 trim and maybe a 2.3L.

hmmm, this is an interesting thread. There are some more things to define though....such as the dyno that was used, that will make a huge difference in dyno numbers.

I made 440whp/346 tq (very low, thanks to small cams), using a T4 35R on Turbo trix dyno. (Dyno Jet I believe)
Mods include:
long style manifold
264/272 cams, cam gears
1000cc injectors
AEM EMS
Niesi FMIC, hard pipes (u/l)
5bar map sensor
HKS carbon Ti exhaust
Boost was 23 psi on 93 octane pump

Temp was 60 degrees

I know there are a lot of people that have done better but thats my contribution. I can post the dyno again, just in case proof needs to be given.

A 2.4L, 42r or bigger powered car on 18-22 psi on pump will make the most on pump. Question is, who's actually dyno'd on pump with a setup of that scale?

For consistency, people should be quoting SAE correct numbers. Most GT35R setups should be in the ~425whp SAE corrected.

I through down 400whp on 92 oct w/ my IHI turbo on a Dynapak. I could have gotten 20whp more if I pushed it a little harder. On a local Dynojet I would be around 425whp SAE.

Thanks for the comments/contributions so far. To me it is very very very surprising that nobody has started a thread like this earlier. I also feel that if we can find out on a pretty wide scale of what is the most you can make out of a particular setup on 93 octane with regards to a specific turbo we can avoid a lot of future threads regarding "Will my GT-Blue Cow dual ball bearing turbo make 800whp?" threads...

I edited my original post already, from here on out each time somebody posts a number that I believe is going to be close to what is the max attainable on pump gas ill throw it up there.

I guess some of those turbos are the more typical turbos used but my suggestion is that the people just list their own turbos and what they've made and you jsut compile a list from that. Of course, there are variations of turbos with the same compressor wheel(3065, 35R, sc61, GT3561, etc..), exhaust wheels(GT4274, GT42xx, etc...), so that's just my .02.

The 42R and 40R are pretty generic turbos I don't see listed .

FWIW, the Dynapak readings I've seen tended to be on part with a Dynojet or even higher - with stock EVO 8s coming in at 245-250whp or so. Unfortunately, the Dynapack gives the least consistent, repeatable numbers of any brand of modern dyno I've seen to date.

Get that car to the local Dynojet you mentioned.

Hm, this thread isn't getting the publicity it deserves. I think the title scares people away because they think it's just another "How much HP can i get with ___ turbo on pump" thread.

But this is a very good thread, and i would like to see the same be made w/ racegas, and injection systems after this one ...if it proves to be beneficial.

Well, to be honest I think that "pump 93/94" has scared off most of the west coast. "Pump gas" here is only 91 octane... Perhaps the list should be inclusive of the highest "pump 91" numbers with a * or something?

FWIW: 3076R .48a/r, EMS, 264 cams, 18psi boost, 91 oct., 113F outside temp (dyno room was even hotter!), Mustang Dyno, 320whp/300wtq
