Little problem..

I have a little problem and it goes like this... While i was in the process of switching my stock BOV's position (because it was installed backwards) I dropped a short phillips screw driver into the radiator fan. Now the screw driver is leaning against the actual radiator and it isnt making contact with any of the blades when i turn the fan....but i still want to get the screw driver out of there...can any1 link me to a slim fan install or something that shows you how to remove the fan or any of you guys have any idea how I can take that sucker out?

You can try using a long magnet. Or if you want to pull the fan and not the radiator, you can have someone pull the rad towards the front of the car which should give you enough space to pull it by the upper IP pipe.

It fell in there so you should be able to get it out right?

It's just 2 bolts then you pull the fan up. Standby for a diagram

Don't drive with it and take that chance!!!

Whats even worse than this is dropping a bolt and it getting caught on the undertray. I have had to take almost all of the undertray off to get the dumb bolt out....grrr!

Whatever you do take it out of there before you punch a hole in the radiator. Here is the diagram although it's pretty easy to do to start with. You may have to remove the intake/box to get the fan out.
