I swapped the ignition with the stock DSM ignition which cured the high RPM / High PSI breakups. Then I had a problem breaking up between gears which I believe has been fixed. I am pretty sure it was because I was using the main rev limiter between shifts (Hitting 9k) and it didnt like it too much. I now wired in a clutch switch to cut the ignition earlier when I shift and it hits the next gears HARD... hard enough to spin the tires hitting 2nd at 20psi.

It is nice to hear you fix it!!Next time,make a full pass(10's or busted) !!Tim,you spin the stock motor to 9k ??

i want in on this.... SAE corrected smoothing 0 stock motor besides cams and headbolts ,pumpgas with meth injection ,stock intake manifold and throttle body 29.5psi about 498 awhp netted us 128.99 trap speeds at a slow 11.1 we kept breaking stock diffs and never got to up the power ....reved to 8,600rpms through the traps all day long.

558awhp , 454 lb ft PM me and i will try to get a bigger sheet but i am not sure if that will be easy without a scanner

Yes I was turning the motor to 9k between shifts. I now have it set at 8.6k and it holds around there nicely.

how does the top dyno guy have all that power at 6,500 RPM when everyone else is wrappin out to like 7,500 or 7,800 for max power... doesnt make sense to me? notice his power isnt dropping off either why would you let off BEFORE the STOCK redline? doesnt make sense to me...

someone help? lol

This is a graph of Sean Ivey's car. Mods as I know it are...Shearer 35r Kit, ARP head studs, HKS 272 cams, AMS I/C, AMS Exhaust, AEM EMS w/ Ivey tuning, Meth injection, bla bla bla. And a stock intake manifold w/ unported head.
