It could be the purple Turbosmart too.

 

It is not a a turbosmart. I am pretty sure it a greddy type s. Have you heard anything about these, good or bad?

Get a cat-delete pipe, a CEL fix, and a flash, if the car dosent already have one, and a hallman manual boost controler set at 21 psi. ANd a boost gauge if you dont already have one, the intake is not gonna give you as much power for your money as some other parts will be able to.

 

hmm, well it would be pretty obvious because the greddy type S says greddy on it. All bov's are labeled with their company name unless the bov is pretty beat up...anyhow if it sounds like a laser, its the greddy-S. I've had that bov on my 03 evo, its def a nice bov if u like the sound, but its def not the best. Lots of people will tell u the MR BOV (now the stock evo9 bov) which is a metal version of the stock evo bov. I have that on my car currently and it does run smoother than the greddy, but the greddy is def a good bov as well...1 of the best ever imo. Since i've already had the greddy, i'm going for the APS dual port bov which i heard runs BETTER than my current jdm MR bov
