Gas mileage and my performance desires

Time for an odd question. Would the following be feasable to build a vehicle that has the continued off boost mileage of a stock MR, while being peppy-er to play with in drag racing.

I want to install head studs, better head gasket, and a 75 HP shot of nitrous. Would this be feasable and safe? Is it possible to install these goodies without them being noticeable without tearing down my motor? Thanks.

Making calculated performance upgrades doesn't necessarily reduce the fuel economy, and on the contrary, increases in part throttle economy are often noted with upgraded cars. Also, there are better, safer ways to improve the power of a stock engine than nitrous.
