Can AEM Serial gauge show EGT in over 1000c ?

As the topic says?

I need to show values > 999 and as far as I can tell the serial gauge can only show 3 digits at the same time?
Please spread some light over this..

FYI, egt should always be run in the leanest cylinder.

If you want to read EGTs past 1000 C something is wrong. My car runs hot compared to many and I only hit low 900s.

Where are your sensor located then?

Look where mine is, like 1-2 inch from the cylinder head. But you might be right, I don't know how high it will run. I sure hope it will be below 1000.

Mine is a few inches farther down from yours. At the top of my header bend... not far enough away to make it drop 100 degrees C. You will be fine with your sensor.

#4. I was under the impression that it was always the cylinder furthest from the TB.
