Is there anyone out there that got the Perrin to work on a IX?

Well to answer my own question - I got the Perrin o2 sim to work on my IX. Went in under the seat. Spliced into the wires & soldered everything together. It's working great.

What did you find the wire colors to associate to?
power, ground, signal, heater

The simulator came with instructions and which line to splice into. I just followed the instructions and it worked perfectly.

What I did was remove the passenger seat. Then I stuck my hand under the carpet and pushed the o2 sensor wires out of the little cut out in the carpet next to the center console. Look for where the two wires connect and unplug them. You want to splice into the wires that lead into the car and not the wires that go out of the car to the o2 sensor. All the wires you need are in that one line. The center console with the cubby pocket will need to come off so you can remove the seat. This exposes the emergency brake assembly. You can ground it there.

Use a engine drain plug.

My Perrin O2 fixed worked great for a year. Just threw a CEL last week and it was for the rear O2. Checked the mechanical fix and no wires came loose, it is still blinking. Any suggestions?
